Bounty
Make your own Bounty chocolate bars at home.
Ingredients
- 120g of coconut, grated/shredded and without added sugar.
- 35g of coconut oil.
- 55g of maple syrup.
- 140g of dark chocolate, which is 2/3 of a 200g bar. Ideally use Lindt 70%.
Instructions
- put coconut, cococunut oil and maple syrup in a bowl and mash it together to a paste.
- cut and roll the paste into small cylinders, aproximately thumb sized. Use a silicone mold if you prefer.
- put the coconut paste elements in the freezer for 10 minutes.
- meanwhile, melt the chocolate and keep it warm.
- dip the coconut paste elements in the chocolate until they’re well covered in chocolate.
- let them dry out. I prefer them cold, so i’ll let them rest in the fridge. But not needed.
